The Headingley Chamber of Commerce is growing.  We are very pleased to introduce our four new business members.  Welcome to the Headingley Chamber!

Barry Guttormson is the President and his wife, Marian is a co-owner.  They are an independent broker of travel medical insurance, serving snowbirds from Ontario to B.C.  Barry is also an Elite Cruise Counsellor and travel consultant.  He was a former critical care paramedic and financial planner.

Headingley Times / Cartier Times Community Newspaper  

Sean O’Dowda is the founder and editor of two community newspapers, the  Headingley Times and the Cartier Times.  The two different newspapers contain articles, information and events exclusive to each of their municipalities.  These publications are distributed through Canada Post to ALL addresses in each community, including the 34% of addresses that do not wish to receive flyers or advertising mail.

Dawna Atamanchuk is known for having a large amount of energy which she brings to her work, family and community.  Her favourite time of day is early mornings.  Since 2003 she has worked in the field of adult learning, more commonly known as training and development.  FourPlus Potentials.ca works with companies to design, implement and deliver learning and leadership programs.

Penny Schoonbaert has been the Community Economic Development Coordinator for the past 1 1/2 years. Prior to that she had been working in Economic Development for 20 plus years in rural Manitoba and Saskatchewan.  She loves connecting communities and helping them to grow.                                            Colby Orchard is the Business Analyst for Community Futures White Horse Plains.  He has been with Community Futures since early 2017, while having previously served as a contracted coordinator for them in 2014.  In his spare time, he enjoys keeping active and both playing and attending a variety of sporting events.
